For those interested in seeking an annulment of a previous marriage in order to remarry in the Catholic Church or to seek a Church blessing of a present marriage, please make an appointment with one of our priests or our Pastoral Associate, Kathy Hasty, by calling the Parish Office at 248.693-0440. 

We will meet with you and explain the meaning of an annulment in light of the Church's view of marriage, possible grounds for an annulment, and the process involved. We will also provide instructions for preparing your annulment application, and give assistance as needed throughout the process. 

Since this process is funded through the Archdiocesan Catholic Services Appeal, there is no cost to you.

Annulment Information Evening
St. Joseph Church will host an Information Evening about Annulments on Thursday, October 23rd, at 7 p.m. in Marian Hall. Canon lawyer Timothy Ferguson JCL, of the Archdiocesan Tribunal will be with us to explain the Church’s views on marriage and annulment, possible grounds for an annulment, and what’s involved in the annulment process.
