FLOW (Grades 7-8)

"Following the Lord our Way"

We welcome all in Grades 7-8!!

FLOW is a great opportunity for you to grow in your faith, have fun, make new friends (maybe even some from other schools), 
AND gives you a chance to add to your Serve and Learn Collection.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD (CLW): Teen helpers for Children’s Liturgy of the Word (kindergarten through grade 5) are needed on Sundays during the 10 a.m. Mass. This does not have to be a weekly commitment. You will work with Mrs. Wiggins in one of the parish meeting rooms. Click HERE to sign up for the dates you can help.

Monday/Tuesday Catechist Helper:   We have an amazing religious education program here at St. Joseph.  We need teen helpers for our Preschool and Kindergarten classes on Monday or Tuesday night, from 6-7:20.  Please look through the sign up and see if there are nights you can come in and help.  Not a weekly commitment.  Click HERE to choose your night you can help.

JOYFUL COMMUNITY - NO HUSH SERVICE:  Teens can volunteer to help with this special needs prayer service.  It is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This is not a monthly committment.  Click HERE to sign to help

Join hundreds of other catholics for a night of praise and worship, dynamic speaking and Eucharistic Adoration with Father Steve Pullis

10am - 12pm (Meet at FISH Food Pantry in Oxford)
Help us clean, sort, and stock items at FISH

1:15-3:45 pm in Marian Hall
Help treat our senior parishioners to a fun aftenoon of Bingo and a meal.

PBJ Ministry
6:30-9:30 am (meet at St. Joe's to carpool down there)
Come serve the homeless at this outdoor soup kitchen in downtown Detroit.
Teens must be accompanied by an adult.

St. Vinvent DePaul Clothing Drive
Organize and sort donated clothing
7:30am - 1:30pm (3 shifts available)

Family Serve - Veteran's Day Projects
3-5 pm in Marian Hall 
Special projects for Veteran's Day.
Families with children of all ages can join us as we celebrate our veretans. We will make special projects that each family can bring home for a special veteran that your family knows, or to deliver to veterans in our area. Everything will be provided by us.

FLOW Giving Tree Tags
1:15-2:15 pm in Marian Hall
As a parish we help many, many people make Christmas a little brights with gifts through our donations. Help us make Christmas tree tags for donations.

Immediately following mass 
Help move gifts from under the Giving Tree to a pod located in the parking lot.
